NOTE: NEW NSW section grading system in place.
We are looking to ensure consistency in the level of sections across all clubs in NSW. State and Club rounds will be set to a similar standard. DO NOT expect the level to be different because it is a state championship round. We want to maintain consistency between competitions and sections - PPTC, Wollongong, Canberra, and Denman. For the 2026 season, there will be a slight change in level for PPTC held trials:
Trial 5 white lines and Trial 4 blue lines will remain the same. (This obviously includes the Vets classes, Twinshock, classics, Junior and Womens at State Titles)
Trial 3 yellow lines will be a C+ level, think tighter turns and shorter run-ups. (Also Masters 35+)
Trial 2 red lines will be more of a B-grade level, with hopping and/or float turns.
Trial 1 green lines will be a combination of A and X, keeping the focus on technical sections, leaving options for obstacles to suit both levels of riders.
If you are unsure of the grade to enter, please call Jono Chellas on 0421457424.
