This June long weekend promises to be one of the social events of the year. TCV will once again host the traditional 2 day trial at Argyle (between Heathcote and Tooborac) in sunny Central Victoria.
The 2012 event saw a few extra twin shocks appear piloted by some pretty handy Expert and A grade riders having a go at some B grade Sections. That’s about when the Twin Shock Challenge thought bubble went up and in 2013 we had about 30 Twin Shockers show up to join in on the fun over a variety of graded lines.
2014 promises to be a beauty, so dust off the twin shocker, pack the camping gear, load up the family and head for Argyle over the long weekend.
The property is tucked away off Newlans Lane and is perfect for camping, which is available from Saturday afternoon the 7th and the vibrant township of Heathcote is only about 6 kilometres away for your supplies.
Traditionally this event is also carries the Aaron Booth Memorial Trophy. Aaron was a member of TCV who lived life to the fullest, was always up for a practical joke and loved riding trials but tragically passed away as a result of an accident. This trophy will be awarded to a rider who has demonstrated his/her improvement over the last twelve months.
This 2 day event isn’t just for Twin Shock bikes so if you’d prefer to ride your modern bike, then come along, test yourself against the Argyle terrain and enjoy the social atmosphere of this great weekend. This property is suitable for Sub Juniors and special sections can be prepared if the kids are keen.
