The Australian Team is on location and ready to take to mountainous northern Italy at the 2011 FIM Trials des Nations (TdN) to be held in Tolmezzo, Italy this weekend.
A five-strong Aussie brigade will tackle the challenging northern Italian terrain, hoping to build on the success of the 2010 event held in Poland.
This year will see a four-rider Australian Men’s Team in action to be led by TdN stars Neil Price (Western Australia) and Kyle Middleton (New South Wales), with 2010 TdN rider Tim Coleman (Victoria) and Boyd Willcocks (Queensland) rounding out the squad.
Last year saw multiple Australian Champion Colin Zarcynski lead the Australian Team to a seventh place finish, while the Women’s Team also recorded an impressive seventh.
This year two-time Australian Champion Kristie McKinnon will be the sole Women’s representative, eager to build on her amazing efforts last year.
NSW star McKinnon was a star in Poland and even produced an 11th place finish in a round of the 2010 FIM Women’s Trials World Championship.
