Motorcycling Australia (MA) is now calling for Expressions of Interest for a Manager and four riders who are interested in being part of a Moto Trials European Youth Development Squad Tour in August/September 2010.
The Expression of Interest form can be downloaded from http://www.ma.org.au/
This opportunity has arisen from discussions held at all levels of Australian Moto Trials, and the desire for MA to add Moto Trials to its roll-call of motorcycling disciplines at which Australians are seen to excel in the international arena.
In line with this vision, MA is offering four positions on a European based youth development tour aimed at Australia’s most promising Moto Trials talent – the next generation of likely candidates for the Australian Trial des Nations (TdN) teams.
This tour will be partly funded by MA and is envisaged that the squad would be in Europe for four to five weeks, over which time they will participate in two intensive five-day coaching camps, UEM and/or FIM events as well as undergo additional specific coaching and possibly compete in local events.
Its proposed that the squad will depart Australia after the Australian Moto Trials Championship, which take place in Canungra, Queensland on 21 and 22 August 2010, and participate in an event to be held at Kramolin, Czech Republic on 5 September.
The squad will also be ‘in camp’ with the Australian team in Italy just prior to the 2010 TdN, and will take up assistant roles for the TdN teams from 11-12 September at Myslenice, Poland.
Expressions of Interest close at COB Friday 29 January 2010, and completed forms and any enquiries should be directed to:
