Yep, a Gas Gas 280cc Two Stroke Trials bike that has full road registration – SIGN ME UP!
We have been working on it for a while, and it is finally a reality! A road registrable proper Trials Bike.
It has not been since the 1980’s that Australian riders have been able to ride a pucker trials bike legally on the road, but with the acceptance of a lot of the EURO 4 homologations for ADR compliance The Hell Team have received acceptance that our Gas Gas CONTACT model is fully road legal in every state of Australia.
The CONTACT is a 280cc two stroke, 6 speed, kick and electric start trials bike born from the GasGas TXT RACING and GP heritage. Same frame, same motor, but a larger fuel tank and the additional seat and electric start to give you the freedom to explore farther afield.
The bikes are delivered with an OFF ROAD KIT as standard. This contains the free flowing exhaust header pipe, larger carby and all cables, and flexy rear guard that can be fitted by the owner for Off Road Use. (as pictured above)
The Hell Team expect bikes to be available around the end of September, early October 2018. RRP has not been set yet but expect low nines. (+ on road costs – state dependant)
