Many thanks to our friends who volunteered to score from Trials Club of Queensland, Western Distracts Trials Club and the South Queensland Trials Association alongside our Logan River scorers from all era's of the club. The 2019 Queensland Cup series is proving to be popular with local riders with 72 competitors attending the event. The weather was spot-on perfect for Trials on Sunday countered by the mid afternoon rain storm of Saturday that caused havoc with the slower paced riders.
Merci (thank you) Paul Mehu- we have been fortunate to have Paul riding local events with us for the last 3 x months in our Expert class. He has been a great inspiration for us all with his riding level and has been very helpful with coaching and catching when needed for some of our local riders. Paul is from the Trials hub of Lyon, France and is here in sunny Brisbane to further his English skills. At 19 years old he has been Trialing for only 5 x years, often training with Lyon local Loris Gubian (world pro class rider), it certainly shows in his riding level, we were all blown away at a training day at Gareth Teale's place when Paul was back wheel hop gapping a slippery creek rock section. Good luck to Paul Mehu from us here in South East Qld when you return to the French S1 Trial championship.
