The inaugural Classic, Post Classic & Air Cooled Mono Qld Championship has been run and won. Refer attached results.
Many thanks to Robert Leggatt for the use of his wonderful property at chilly Stanthorpe and to those dedicated few that helped set up this event.
The format for the event was 5 laps of 6 sections for both days with only 2 sections being re-used on Sunday but much modified. The sections were cleverly set offering a good variety of terrain and being a stones throw from the carpark, the Blue Line as an example was tricky enough to snatch a point or two from the top riders but still very do-able and cleanable for the older C grade types.
Overall the event exuded a great friendly and relaxed atmosphere and hopefully will be repeated next year.
A special mention should go to our only Mini Bike entrant Attila Sinkovics, who at only 5 years of age shows some amazing feet up skill on his little Electric Trials bike, another Toni Bou in the making quite possibly.
