The 2023 version of the bike that has won 5 out of the last 6 editions of the Scottish Six Day Trial is now available. The SSDT is considered the toughest and most demanding test in the trials world. To succeed in this event, the bike needs to be reliable, competitive and easy to ride.
For 2023, the DLR is fitted with a 3 way Reiger rear shock, titanium exhaust pipe, standard black "soft" throttle body, standard compression ratio head insert, new 0.7mm siliconized cylinder gasket and "soft" maps for the fuel injected engine. It comes with all the Nitro improvements - new frame, exhaust, waterpump, fuel tank, battery assisted electrics etc.
As with all Vertigo's, the DLR is fitted with high quality components throughout the bike. Tech 170mm aluminium front forks, Reiger 3 way rear shock, billet machined wheel hubs, triple clamps and footpegs. Plenty of red and green anodized parts with new high quality blister decals make the DLR a piece of art. Overall weight is down to 66.6kg.
The fuel injected engine combined with the soft engine settings - throttle body, compression ratio, flywheel weight make the DLR a pleasure to ride. Super smooth progressive power delivery, beautifully balanced chassis and soft engine maps make this bike easy to ride and find traction in even the most difficult conditions.
Vertigo Racing will have DLR's landing around Xmas. The DLR will be available in 250 and 300cc versions with 125, 225 and 280cc versions available on order only. These bikes are strictly limited production. Priced at $12700.
