The 2nd round of the VTS series at MtBolton put on by the Ballarat Rovers MCC turned out to be a cracking day with sunny weather and great section.
Property owner Dennis Fitzpatrick and his team set great sections for all grades which kept most grades having to work quite hard to keep the points down.
Tim Coleman showed us why he’s representing Australia at this year’s TDN again with superb skills taking out the expert class from Scott Owen on his Monty 4rt.
Young Sth Oz kid Connor Hogan showed us his skills by taking out A grade from local TCV rider Brendan Johnson.

Phil Lewis kept his winning way up by dominating the Masters class from new Monty owner Glen Curry in 2nd place and Steve Johnson in 3rd.
Brooke Lonie kept here winning ways up also by showing the boys how it’s done with young David McDonald in 2nd and Jacob Whittle in 3rd.
The highest contested class of C+ was very close with Scott Stephens borrowing is daughters bike taking the win on 10pts from Blair Strik 11 and Adrian Maiolo on 15.
Also making the trip over from Sth Oz was Rob White cleaning up the 40+ class in convincing fashion.
There’s a few new riders in the clubman class with newly Gasgas rider Chas Rechner making a great debut with a win from the Scorpa mounted goat rider of Marcus Walker and Bret Mackley in 3rd.
The Hogan family certainly made their trip worthwhile with Ethan taking out the Junior class from Josh Dyer in 2nd and Declan O’Loughlin 3rd.
And changing speeds this weekend were the sidecar duo of Justin and Melissa Foot making great progress in the tricky off camber sections after just returning from the Queensland sidecar road racing championships 1 week ago.
Next stop on the calendar is the 2 day Argyle trial on the Queens birthday weekend (7th & 8th June) with the next round of the VTS series at Winchelsea put on by the Sporting MCC on the 21st June.
