Sunday’s Wildwood trial turned out to be a ripper trial in many ways.
Blessed with warm weather and very little breeze (unlike strong winds in the past) all grades had great sections with grade standard we think were about right.
Many commented on the white arrow lines being very enjoyable right up to the A grade sections giving riders plenty to think about and concentrating on their balance and not just completing the section.
Also attached is the final VTS series results bringing up a few surprises especially in the A & Expert class.
This year, we combined the A and Expert grade into the one class but each still doing their correct lines with young David MacDonald taking top spot.
Josh Coleman took a clean sweep of the B grade class and will be great to see him moving into A grade next year.
Ex A grader Brendan Johnson had a great year in Masters taking that out quite convincingly.
C+ grade was a little closer with Pat Sutton looking good all year but a close pack running for 2nd and 3rd.
Cristian Ambrozie only started riding trials a few years ago and took out the C grade class and moving to C+ for the final round and still achieved a good score.
After many years away from the sport, Tim Lloyd still shows he hasn’t forgotten anything winning the Veterans class.
We had 9 junior/ sub junior riders this year so it will be a great watching these kids grow up and developing their skills.
Once again, we would like to thank the 3 clubs (TCV, OMCC & BRMCC) putting in many hours to make this a great series.
15th Oct will be a VTS presentation event at Ravenswood with a BBQ lunch. Same site as VTS 3.
