Western Districts Trials Club, with the kind cooperation and assistance of the Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club, are proud to announce the WDTC Twin Shock Masters Interclub Trial to be held at Green Park at Conondale on 4th and 5th November 2017.
The WDTC AGM followed by some riding games organised for the kids in the afternoon and then the catered evening meal and annual presentations will all take place on the Saturday, and the actual competition will be on the Sunday. All details including the timetables are naturally included in the Supp-regs for the event.
Entries are open now via Nominate.com.au and that site will tell you that entries will close at Midnight on Sunday 29th October. In actual fact that is the cut off point for getting final figures for the caterers, and so if you have any plans of partaking in the catered meal please get your entries in early so that you don’t miss out.
Entries will then re-open for the next couple of days, for any late entries, but without the meal options, and finally close at midnight on 1st Nov 2017.
There are two changes worth noting for this year’s competition compared to previous ones.
Firstly it used to be that change of machine was allowed at the discretion of the senior official if so noted in the supp-regs. We have noticed that a substantial number of bikes are brought along but not ridden on the day, and our aim is to see as many of these great old machines ridden as possible so for this year’s event we have specified that not only is change of machine allowed, but it is actually encouraged. Naturally all machines intending to be used have to have been scrutineered and parked in the viewing area prior to the start of the event, and also naturally any change or swapping of machines still has to be within the same class that the rider has entered, and that the machine is eligible for.
Secondly, and this won’t really affect regular riders, but there are always some who only come out to rare or special events. MQ have recently approved the use of recreational licences for those who wish to try to have a ride, but their scores will not be kept or used in the final results. So for those looking for a cheaper non-competitive one day licence we are now allowed to give you that opportunity.
As I said earlier, all details and entries are at Nominate.com.au
