As we start to put together the final planning and logistics for the event together we now need a number of volunteers to give up a bit of time to ensure that this event starts off the 2014 Trial World Championships season in a spectacular fashion and that all our spectators have a fantastic experience over the weekend. All volunteers are covered by insurance for the event but the requirement is that they be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Volunteer jobs include:
- Information Booths (Thursday – Sunday)
- Merchandise Sales – (Friday – Sunday)
- Ticket Sales (Friday only at Bill Woodfull reserve)
- Podium assistants for the start and scoreboard (Sat & Sun)
- Score card runners for the end of each lap (Sat & Sun)
- Podium assistants for the presentation of prizes (Sat & Sun)
- Paddock coordinator (Thursday & Friday)
- Practice Area Marshalls (Thursday & Friday)
- Rubbish (Friday – Sunday) (empty small bins into big skips)
- Toilets (Friday – Sunday) (top up water and toilet paper)
- Traffic management (Sat & Sun afternoon)
- Clean-up post the event (Monday)
- Office / Admin assistants (Friday – Sunday)
If we have lots of volunteers there can be a roster system so that everyone gets a chance to see part of the event.
