The fourth club day of the year was a good day as the 36 riders we had all seemed to enjoy themselves. We even had a rider who was one of the clubs first members riding a Bultaco too. David Fisher rode Mick Chadwicks 199B Sherpa T on the day which made half the Aussie population of this model running in this trial. Yes there is only four of this model in Australia.
Seeing as this is the clubs thirtieth anniversary I should point out that the first two paid up members of the club were here on the day but only one was riding. Mick was the first signed up member in 1982 and I was the second only because he beat me to the sign up table.
Now on to the trial. The lower grade sections were very good as they were challenging without being dangerous in any way. I also heard no complaints from the upper grade riders as well so that was good. It was very hot on the day so that made things interesting.
We had six sections in each grade with five laps on a short loop down and up the hill so all was good. I would also like to thank Chris Williams for letting the club use his property again. This place is really good on a hot day as the top of the hill always has a nice breese and the creek sections are always in the shade so it is nice and cool in t he sections.
The results are in the attachment here somewhere so I will let you have a look at them. Cheers Graham Weiss.
