For those hardy enough to make the trip out into the wild, the Coona club will be holding solo trials on Sunday April 10th, May 1st and June 26th. At this point, they will be held at a property in Coonabarabran called 'Whitegums', just off the juncton with Gardener St and Saleyard Rd, at the northern end of town. Precise directions can be obtained from me at pbrockl@activ8.net.au. We will be running classes for all bikes, no matter what the shape of the carby slide, the number of shock absorbers or the metal the self reciprocating widget connector on the foo-foo valve is made of. Start time will be 10am sharp, with signing on from 8.30am on the day. Entry fee is $25 for members and $30 for non-members, which includes day membership of the club for those who can't make it too often. No competition licence is necessary, but a safe machine and the proper riding gear is essential. 'A' grade, if there are any, B, C and Clubman lines will be set. For those closer to home there will be an opportunity to practice at the venue on Sunday 27th March. Email for details.
