It’s on again in the Hunter Valley, NSW!!
Denman motorcycle clubs epic twinshock trials series starts again soon for 2013 with an official practice day at Loloma, Ogilvies Hill on Sunday 24thMarch .
Located just 17kms past Jerrys Plains on the Golden Highway this property offers a mix of dry rocky creek beds, natural wooded gullies and some nice grassy climbs, with a bit of water thrown in !! Given the recent soggy weather we are experiencing water may be a bigger feature than usual.
For directions follow the map attached or just head towards Denman from Jerrys Plains and look out for the marker tape and signs at the gate. It’s just a short 12kms run east from Denman for any locals.
We are hoping for big things this year with some new faces involved in event organising, some old hands setting those classic tricky twinshock sections and a big drive to increase our numbers.
We know there are many treasured twinshocks out there just languishing in sheds or resting dust covered under houses, we need you all there for some fun riding, a bit of friendly competition thrown in and an all round great day out in the country.
For those interested we will also be doing some Saturday night camp outs so you can set up Saturday, have a bit of a ride around and enjoy a few quiet drinks around the campfire before the serious fun starts the next day.
We will be using our first practise day to get some discussion going on better ways to run our series, get more bikes out there and secure our riding future. We are looking for input from all those interested in having a good time and seeing our events prosper so come along and have your say.
So all you twinshock tragics drag those bikes out, give them a bit of a service and get yourselves there. This is your chance to blow off the cobwebs and get in some practise ready for our first official scoring round which is only 3 weeks later on the 14th April at Chapmans, Yarrawa.
