Entries are about to open for the 2018 Rockhopping SA SA Women's Cup & Diener/Holmes Sidecar Trophy and the Keyneton MCC is proud to announce an all female officiating crew for the event.
The 45th Keyneton MCC Mountain Man Trial
THE 10TH SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S CUP
and DIENER / HOLMES SIDECAR TROPHY
WILL HAVE AN ALL FEMALE OFFICIAL CREW!
The Keyneton Motorcycle Club are proud to announce that the prime official crew for their 2018 Mountain Man Trial will be made up entirely of women. It is believed that this is the very first time in South Australian Motorcycling, and perhaps Australian Motorcycling history that an all-female crew will be in control of a motorcycle event.
The four (4) person crew will be made up of the following;
• Steward; KAREN WEDGE
• Clerk of Course; TYLER HOGAN
• Race Secretary; CAROLE TUNE
• Chief Scrutineer; WENDY HOLMES
This is the 10th year of the The South Australian Women’s Cup and The Diener / Holmes Sidecar Trophy, and through the years there have been many female officials on duty, but never 4 at the same time!, and we congratulate and thank Karen, Tyler, Carole & Wendy for their time and efforts.
The Keyneton MCC is proud to once again be a leading figure in women in motorcycling in Australia, and add yet another first to this great event, which is also the first event in SA Motorcycling to have women headline a motorcycle event and also the first event from SA to earn a FIM Women in Motorcycling Award nomination!
Once again being sponsored by Greg Knight’s Rockhopping SA, and with great support from Paul Arnott’s The Hell Team and Peter Goddard’s Oset Bikes Downunder, this one day event will be held on an iconic Barossa Ranges location, and on 2 of the properties that hosted the Scottish 2-Day in 2015 – with the venue also a neighbouring property to where the Vine Inn Barossa 2017 Australian Trial Championships were held!
