Today we are speaking with Mick Wren.
One of the things I am keen to do on this podcast is to ensure we get a fair representation of all people of our sport, beyond just the riders.
Mick is a self confessed bike nut, and been involved in the administration of the Trials & Enduro committee with the British ACU for over 20 years.
He is the TdN team manager, and he is also the ACU's representatives on the FIM Europe Trial Committee.
By his own admission, he's a volunteer for everything and just keeps ending up with jobs!
This was a very illuminating chat about the issues facing the sport of Trials from an ACU and FIM perspective.
He is attuned to the pressures for peoples leisure time and is focused on improving the sport of trials to make it more attractive for participants.
He also has is very transparent in the decisions at the FIM around the stop vs no-stop rule.
I hope you enjoy this chat with Mick Wren.
