Magnus Liljeblad has been an administrator of our sport almost as long as he's been riding.
Currently, he is the FIM Europe Trial Commission Chairman. He is also part of the FIM Trial commission and has previous held roles in administration of the sport in his native Sweden.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he is a former WTC rider competing between 1980 & 1994. He also continued riding at a very high level long after that and won the European Over 40's championship in 2010.
Part of Magnus' responsibilities in his FIM role is to drive the growth of Electric trials bikes and also Women in Trials.
Both of those are making good progress, and as you will hear there are ambitions to increase them further through tweaks being proposed at the FIM.
I hope you enjoy this chat with Magnus.
