ATTENTION. Due to four rider cancelling (broken arms and other troubles)! - we now have places available for the Jordi Pascuet Junior Trials Training Camp this weekend at Pacific Park.
We have had incredible feedback from participants in Victoria and South Australia (last two weekends), and it's free to 21 and under Junior Trials license holders.(thanks to support from MNSW). So dont miss out on this terrific opportunity to get some training from the World's best mototrials coach.
It also counts as your 5 hours of training needed for your 2012 MNSW license, so bring your log books. We will also be doing a KickStart program in conjunction with the day, so if you would like to start Moto-Trials and need to do the KickStart program we can accommodate you.
Please call Paul Arnott, at The Hell Team, 02.8424.6400 to register ASAP. Day starts at 9.30am Saturday.
Pacific Park have kindly waived entry fees to participants and their minders/parents on the days. (thanks Dave)!

Just received a great letter from Scott Baxendale that I would like to share with everyone:
Jordi was brilliant especially with the kids/youth, he had an easy style which they listened to, was obviously a fantastic rider and role model. He spent time with everyone even the old blokes like me!
Dean and I were very impressed that he started with the basics, how to stand on the bike, bike setup etc. We all learnt from that, even some of our very experienced riders. He also said when there was alternatives to doing something and how it affected the bike or riding. I was amazed that he spent so much time on balance issues, however he is 100% right, it is the foundation and everything leads from that. Having ridden trials for nearly 40 years I never really grasped the significance of that, wish I had his advice then. He really bought home, again especially to the kids, how important the basics and balance are. By doing fun exercises, like wheelies and stoppies he had the kids and lots of the adults riding better in no time. I think we have been missing this important part of coaching in the past, many riders thought these skills were beyond them but the weekend proved this is not the case.
It was great so many of our coaches made themselves available for the weekend, I am sure they gained an enormous amount from the sessions. Adrian did a wonderful job with the kids and they all look up to him, we were all amazed what he did on Marks Endures bike! Good to see those guys along as well, bet they didn't think they could put the big bikes up some of the steps, looks like we might have some new talent in the trials ranks next year.
All in all, a well organised event with enough structure to make it worthwhile but combined with lots of fun stuff to keep the kids interested.
I was quite amazed how much Dean & I gained from it, certainly having someone at that level who can convey the information so well is priceless.
Cheers,
Scott
