To the trials community of Australia,
This morning, the attached letter was sent to Motorcycling Australia from the General Manager of Motorcycling South Australia, on behalf of Trials SA, asking for 2 amendments to the 2017 MoMS in regards to Classes at the Australian Trials Championships, and riding sections in sequential order.
The trials community of SA don't feel that the changes that were made are a positive step forward for our discipline of motorcycling, and after talking to a number of trials people around the country, as well as seeing many comments online and on social media, we feel that the majority of the country feels the same - so -
If you feel as strongly about this as we do, please contact Motorcycling Australia, [email protected], and/or your local SCB and show your support for what we are trying to achieve, as we feel that the financial viability of running the Championships, now, and into the future could be at stake here.
Thanks for taking the time to read our proposed amendments and thinking about the future of our sport, and our pinnacle event, the Australian Championships.
Please also, feel free to pass this on to your fellow Club members and trials riding community, as we would like the whole country to be untied behind this proposal.
Regards
Andrew Warnest
