The final Round of the NSW Moto Trials Championship is shaping up to be a great event. The section setters have planned out a fantastic two days of sections encompassing big hill climbs, creek sections, as well as the famously grippy Sydney sandstone sections Pacific Park is usually renowned for.
There will be a Working Bee this Sunday 21st August for those willing to man a rake, shovel or saw for a couple of hours. Please meet at the gate at 9am as entry gates will be locked during the day.
We know everyone missed the fabulous "Glenmaggie" this year due to extenuating circumstances, but here's the chance to experience the same style great fun, two day, big loop, trial that made Glenmaggie such a success for so many years. The combined Trials Clubs of Sydney have taken a good look at our two day format (for the last weekend of August), and tried to make this last round of the NSW Moto-Trials Championships something special!
- Late start Saturday 27th (11am) to allow travellers more time to get to Pacific Park. The Park is on the northern outskirts of Sydney, 1 hour from the CBD.
- Early finish Sunday afternoon(2pm) to allow travellers time to get home in a reasonable time.
- Camping is encouraged on Friday, and Saturday nights, and we will have a big social Saturday night with hosts the Marchant family (owners of the Park). There is top notch toilet, shower, and laundry facilities available. Great campsites, and all are welcome.
The Park will be closed all weekend to regular motorcycle Mx/Enduro/Trail riders. Only Trials bikes will be allowed entry. We will have the whole of Pacific Park to ourselves to run the trial. It is a massive facility and we will try and give everyone a good look at it!
The Section setters will use Glenmaggie as a yardstick and design fun, flowing sections, and a very big loop on both days. Sections will not be repeated on the Sunday, but all new areas and sections will be offered up. The loop will be a large one, but the sections will be creative, and fun.
The organizing club will keep the entry fees affordable, and make it cheaper for families than some Open Trials have become. Supp regs will be online within days.
Pacific Park Trials Club would like to make this an annual affair, mirroring the success our southern brethren have achieved with Glenmaggie.
