Round 2 of TROY Series SA 2017 ran on April 30 at Victor Harbor, the Frank Tuck Trial, and it was the day of the 'grommets' - or the youth of Trials South OZ showing everyone what they got!
2nd year Open Junior Alex Cowan had his first up win in B Grade, with 'Youth' riders Alex Yiatrou, Caden Rogers & Sofie Kraft, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, with another Junior, current U/13 Aussie Champ Haydon Barwick in 5th!
First year Open Junior Joshua Rees had a best ever result of 2nd in C Grade, with another 'Youth' in Joel Schroeder in 3rd, finishing behind the 'ole fox' in Rob White - and with Connor Hogan & Haydon Ahrens running alone in Expert & A Grade - SA is certainly the state of the future at the moment!
Congrats also to Coan Linke for the Junior A win, another close one from Hayden Eardley, with Ashley Barwick scoring a first ever & super 1 point win over Lucy Cowan in Junior B!
