Motorcycling Australia (MA) is today providing you a further update on the progress of RiderNet 2.0 and the shutdown process of RiderNet 1.0.
The following communication is for all Clubs, Officials, Coaches and key Stakeholders.
The final transition from RiderNet 1.0 is rapidly approaching with RiderNet 1.0 set to be deprecated and shut down on the 15th November.
This means that ALL events must be closed by no later than the 14th November to allow time for all the financial reports to be finalised before RiderNet 1.0 is switched off.
MA would like to thank all those involved for their efforts, support and understanding during this transition period and our members, promoters and stakeholders for their patience and assistance in the delivery of this complex project.
To ensure there are minimal issues during this transition you need to be aware of the following the key dates:
- RiderNet 1.0 will shut down COB on the 15th of November. There will be no access to RiderNet 1.0 after this date
- All events which are scheduled to be completed and closed by the 14th of November can continue to use RiderNet 1.0
- As communicated on the 19th of September, all new events which are scheduled to be completed after the 14th of November must use Ridernet 2.0
- The Motorcycling Australia mobile app linked to RiderNet 1.0 will no longer function once RiderNet 1.0 has shut down. The new MA RiderNet mobile app is available to download for both Android and Apple products.
While we have undertaken extensive testing and validation of the new system, it is expected that some bugs and issues will remain for the short term, but the RiderNet Committee is working through these at a steady rate.
Data migration from RiderNet 1.0 into RiderNet 2.0 will continue until the system closure.
