Welcome to TROY Series SA for 2012, and what is an exciting new chapter in the Series’ history, as, for the first time, it welcomes a naming rights sponsor in Sherco Moto SA.
In a 3 year deal, the TROY Series will now be known as Sherco Moto TROY Series SA, and all at Moto Trials SA thank Greg Knight and his family at Sherco Moto SA for their commitment to moto trials in SA.
We also thank Don Murray from the Moto Central Group in Canberra for their support, through Sherco Moto SA for their support of moto trials in SA as well.
Sherco Moto TROY Series SA 2012 kicks off on March 25 with the Frank Tuck Moto Trial at Victor Harbour in what is a fantastic venue to start the year here in SA. The AJS Club are striving to get a full compliment of observers together for the event, so if you would like a full day ride, contact the Club with the name of an observer asap!
Whilst there is no on site camping for Victor, there are plenty of options to overnight in one of SA’s best tourist spots. Rounds 2 – 4 all have a Junior Development camp the day before, so overnight camping should be available at all of these rounds (check the supp regs).
With riding numbers continuing to rise here in SA and with more and more bikes supposedly coming into SA each week, 2012 looks like it will continue to break all TROY records for entries, so get around it today – and come and see the impossible, made possible!
What is the TROY Series SA?
TROY (Trials Rider Of the Year), now in its third year, is a series, which has added an exciting dimension to South Australia’s moto trials scene.
TROY is a four round series and is a collective effort of the states current trials clubs, giving each club the opportunity to host a premier event and to showcase trials and promote their own club, while also giving the riders more to aim for during the season.
The trials clubs of South Australia are sure TROY Series SA will develop into being an outstanding addition to the SA moto trials calendar.
