Sherco MotoTrials Extravaganza
Sudden death competition – Splat Challenge – $1,600 Cash prizes!!
The Sherco MotoTrials Extravaganza will be held at the OMCC's Melbourne metropolitan club ground in Simpsons Road, Clayton South on 22nd November 2009 (Melways 79 C10). Gates open 9am. Admission by gold coin donation. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. No animals permitted except for the sight impaired.

- Wildcard entries challenging the top 2009 Victorian riders in Open, Classic/Twinshock and Junior (under 16) classes.*
- The Pete’s Garage splat challenge.**

The MotoTrials Extravaganza is designed to attract maximum public interest and incorporates competitions for Experts, Classic/TwinShock and Juniors (under 16). In addition, there will be a “Splat” competition with a specially constructed Splat wall which will be progressively increased in height.
Demonstrations by sidecars, women riders and pushbike trials will also be featured. Topping all this off, a Come-and-Try day will be held in a separate part of the venue to allow the public to experience the accessibility of MotoTrials first-hand.
Prizes of $200, $125 and $75 will be awarded to the placegetters in the MotoTrials and Splat competitions.

* Entries in the trials competitions are restricted to riders who have competed in at least one round of the 2009 Victorian Trials Rider of the Year (TROY) series. All intending competitors must apply on the official entry form (see attached). See also the Competition Conditions and Timetable of Events. The closing date for entries is Friday 23rd October 2009.
** Entries in the Splat competition are not restricted to TROY competitors and will be accepted on the day. Splat entrants will be subject to scrutineering and other requirements of the GCR’s. Only trials bikes may compete.
*** Riders must present proof of Victorian ambulance membership, wear calf length boots and an approved motorcycle helmet - open-face gives best visibility - and sign an indemnity. Parents or guardians must sign for juniors. A $10 fee applies.
