The Tasmanian Motorcycle Trials Club is proud to Present the 2010 Tasmanian Title.
We are holding this event at Mt Joy, just south of Launceston. This is a little bit of trials paradise famous within Tasmania.
It is a two day, once a year event, open to all riders where the winners in each grade will be Tasmanian Champions. How is that for incentive?
So make your plans & bookings now - as this is a long weekend in Tas & Vic and boats & planes will be busy.
There is plenty of reasonably priced accommodation in the Launceston area or camping is available at the trials site.
We are currently planning a Training Day for Monday 8th Feb to be run by some mainland Experts - more news on this when it is confirmed.
Don’t miss this fantastic well run event.
It is a long weekend for Tasmania & Victoria, and we are only a quick trip on the Spirit of Tasmania away. Mainland riders can either come to the event and return for work on Tuesday or make a holiday of it and stay for a week before or after!
If you can talk someone into bringing your bike over on the boat – you could fly into Launceston Airport quite cheaply.
All grades Xpert, A, B, C+, C, Twinshock, Sidecar, Clubman will be included in the Trial. Other grades can be run if there are enough entries eg Pre 65.
The exciting new location at Mt Joy provides extensive area’s of rocks and logs to ride over.
We have our results computerised now, so they are available soon after the end of each day. The combined results from both days will be used to determine the Tasmanian Title results.
Some very nice trophies made out of Tasmanian timbers are on offer again, the same as last year. They will look very classy on your shelf – should you be good enough to win one. So competition could be fierce.
Whatever happens you will have a good weekend with the friendly locals.
So why not take the drive over to Tassie or Fly-Drive if you can get a mate to bring your bike for you. It would be a good weekend away for mainlanders.
On Saturday night there is the opportunity for some socialising as we are booked into a local pub for tea.
