Well it's on again, and not in a zillion degrees temperature this time! Trials Jam 2 is smashing Pacific Park on April the 16th and 17th.
Come on down for two days of.....well not the usual type of Trials! Apart from an OpenFree Trial on Saturday, we will be having some fun events including barrel races and trick bike slaloms, A Freestyle Trials school with FlairRiders Tim Coleman, Jack Kavanagh and Jack Field. Some Freestyle Trials Demos. Scorpa and Gas Gas Demo rides. and Sunday morning a Speed Trial Poker Run on a big loop around the Park.
Pacific Park Motorcyle complex and Waterski Gardens is situated on Wiseman's Ferry Road, South Maroota, NSW, just one hour from Sydney CBD. It has hundred of acres of awesome trials environment, and the Marchant family (park owners) are great, and long time, supporters of our sport.
Trials Jam 2 will commence at a leisurely hour of 11am on Saturday the 16th April with an OpenFree Trial, and all are welcome. All that is required is payment of Park entry, and the usual Pacific Park indemnity forms signed. Please see www.pacificpark.com.au for maps, park details etc. This will be a low stress, maximum fun day with the emphasis on everyone having a good time. Please bring your riding gear, Bike, Helmet and a good attitude.
FlairRiders will also be doing demos, and have the Fun Box set up to go later in the afternoon. The boys will also have a Freestyle trials School during the course of the afternoon for those who would like to improve their skills in sit-down wheelies, nose wheelies, jumps etc etc
Also planned for the afternoon is some gymkkana style events, so we can all take the mickey out of each other!
We will have the new Scorpa SR 280 and Gassers for selected test rides.
We have booked most of the events for Saturday to encourage overnight camping at the Park, so please bring some supplies because we will end Saturday with a BBQ out back of the shop.
Sunday morning is the innugural Hell Team, "School of Hard Rocks". A Timed Trials Loop / Poker Run. You will need trials skills and a turn of speed to contest the course around a big loop at Pacific Park. There will be only two sets of splits - "Human" and "SuperHuman" and an every ticking stop watch! It's not so easy when the clocks on!
Starting at 9am riders will be set off at one minute intervals, points are not deducted in the sections, but the rider must complete the chosen class line. Time penalties apply. Riders have to pick up a marked card at each section or they will be disqualified (so as to stop "short cuts). Plenty of neat prizes for class winners, good poker hands, and random participants.
We are not playing for Sate or National titles this weekend, and the emphasis again is just to have a FUN weekend. It is not brand specific, and everyone is welcome. See you there!
