For the first time in the history of Observed Motorcycle Trials, Australia will host rounds 3 & 4 of the World Trials Championships in May 2012. This Grand Prix event will highlight the unbelievable skills these championship competitors possess, also the world juniors and youth riders will strut their stuff and we guarantee you’ll be gobsmacked when you witness just what they can make these bike do.
Two big days of outstanding action in one of the most idealic locations of Central Victoria. Why not extend your holiday and seek out some history, sip some great wines and soak up the views. You’ll love it!
The event will be held on the large granite outcrops on the western edge of Mt Tarrengower located adjacent to the historic village of Maldon in Central Victoria.
Not since the Super Trial in 2005 has there been so much excited anticipation of seeing the worlds best on Australian soil.

How to get there:
Fly directly into Melbourne International Airport from anywhere in the world, there are the usual hire cars available from the airport .
Travel on the Tullamarine Freeway towards Melbourne then turn off at the junction with M79, Calder Freeway in the direction of Bendigo.
Travel (approx. 1 hour) on the M79 and A79 to the Castlemaine turnoff onto the B180 then after Castlemaine onto the C282 towards Maldon.
The entire travel time will be approx. 1hr45min.
Accommodation is available in the vibrant town of Castlemaine, the heritage village of Maldon and just 30 minutes away in Victoria’s premier regional city of Bendigo.

As an Observer you will get you will get free entry to the event, plus the opportunity to see EVERY rider, twice through the day. Give it some thought!
